 Mina
With 27 years of experience Mina’s life has been in hair styling. “I never wanted to be anything but a stylist.” Although a salon owner for the last eleven years Mina hasn’t allowed that to keep her from her passion. With training from Vidal Sassoon and Suki’s, Mina has never stopped developing her styling skills and over the last four years has been extensively trained via TIGI/Toni&Guy academies, most recently with a stint at TIGI’s Los Angeles Santa Monica Academy for advanced cutting/teaching techniques. “It’s still fun for me and I’m always thinking hair, so it’s so satisfying to find that perfect cut for someone, and see them walk out of my salon glowing.” |
 Afsaneh
Afsaneh brings her 15 years of experience to Exquisite and not least her love of hair styling. Equally comfortable with women’s, men’s, and children’s styles, Afsaneh particularly loves bringing the light to her clients hair with highlights & foils. “I also enjoy the challenge of naturally curly hair, and updo styles, it is usually a special time for that client so I enjoy being a part of that, and making them look spectacular. Afsaneh works Tues, Wednesday, and Thursday.

 Alicia
Alicia has a huge wealth of hair styling experience and has been a favourite stylist in the Tricities for over 25 years. These years of experience have given her the confidence and skill to deal with almost any styling challenge that comes her way. Alicia keeps current with ongoing updates, but particularly enjoys doing classic cut and colour work. ” Making new friends is what I love most about hair dressing, I’ve had clients who brought their children to me, those kids grew up stayed as clients and now I’m cutting their children’s hair too – that is a wonderful feeling.”

 Patti
Patti brings 25 years of hair styling experience to our team. After five years of intensive training in Eastern Canada Patti settled in Coquitlam and has been winning client loyalty with her superb styling talents ever since. From colour & styling to updos Patti is skilled in all aspects for hair styling, and comfortable with every hair type. “I quite often find myself taking care of an entire family, which is a wonderful way to get to know people”. When asked why she still loves cutting hair Patti says “Clients often tell me that I’m a good listener, and I think that is so important. I’ve always been committed to keeping my styling skills updated, but it’s seeing my clients happy and looking great that keeps my passion for hair styling alive

 Carol
Carol thrives on the creativity of transforming her client’s ideas into cuts & colours that mesh perfectly with their lifestyle and look. And with twenty plus years of experience starting with training via Vidal Sassoon and continual educational updating, Carol has the cutting skills to achieve those results whether classic or contemporary. Equally at ease with long, short, and men’s styles Carol feels that “While I might really enjoy the creative part of working with the client to find the look they want, they seem to really appreciate the fact that I take the time at the outset to really understand what they need. And once we are done to always make sure they know how to easily re-create that look every day. |
 Carmen
Carmen is trained as both a Stylist and Esthetician. With over 17 years of experience esthetics Carmen is now utilizing her barbering skills within the EXQ Barbershop side of Exquisite. Carmen applies the same precise dexterity and good taste to hair that was always her signature in her esthetics work. Carmen is comfortable with all styles but particularly enjoys short cuts for men and children.

Atusa’s skill as an esthetician has won her many loyal clients in the Tri-cities over the years, and once you’ve experienced a treatment with Atusa you will immediately understand why. Lily runs Lily’s Hair as an independent business within our salon. All we can say is that we are so glad to have her with us – she has a beautiful, warm, relaxed personality that only enhances the mood wherever she goes. Lily has 11 years of experience, and has completed further training in Pivot Point Cutting and Wella Master Colourist programs. Lily is equally versatile with all aspects of hair styling , but particularly enjoys colour correction work. Lily also often finds herself cutting hair for entire families which she loves.
